Testimonials

“I wholeheartedly endorse Michele as a dog trainer who exceeded our expectations. Michele's effectiveness in training our dog, Willow, was impressive. With a blend of compassion and patience, she tailored her approach to Willow's unique needs.  Her communication skills are excellent, making the learning process clear and enjoyable for both us and Willow.   What sets Michele apart is her dedication to not only training Willow but also educating and transforming us into better dog owners. She goes above and beyond, ensuring we understand the principles behind her methods and providing valuable insights into canine behavior. Michele's holistic approach considers the well-being of both the pet and the owner, creating a harmonious bond.   Michele worked with us and tailored the training session into a dual approach of teaching Willow and us as owners.   On an agreed schedule, she would walk Willow in the morning and then meet with us in the afternoon to coach us on effective tactics.  It really helped our family learn how to be dog people again. It was a great experience!!    It's not just about commands; Michele instills a deeper understanding of Willow's needs and behavior, facilitating a positive and lasting relationship. We are grateful for the impact Michele has had on our lives and Willow's well-being, and we confidently recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated dog trainer. Michelle's expertise and genuine passion for her work is evident and appreciated by both pets and their owners.  10/10 would recommend!” - Adrian & Willow

We cannot recommend Michele enough for dog hike and training services! For over a year she has been absolutely wonderful with our dog, Zuzu, who jumps with joy every time Michele arrives. Michele routinely takes Zuzu on adventurous hikes in the woods, and Zuzu always comes back totally worn out for the rest of the day. Michele is not only kind and attentive, but she also reinforces Zuzu's training during their outings, which has made a noticeable difference in her behavior. She often provides thorough reports after each hike, letting us know what they worked on and how Zuzu did. If you're looking for someone to provide hiking or training services for your dog, Michele is the one! She clearly loves what she does, and we feel so lucky to have found her. We can't recommend her enough! Ben, Zoe, and Zuzu

“I worked with Michele for almost a year and a half. Initially I reached out to her to get some help with my dog’s fear of car rides. I learned so much more than I could have imagined from her. My dog and I developed a much deeper relationship and his trust in me grew as we worked on simple obedience tasks such as loose leash walking, sit, stay, and recall. We also learned how to keep my pup calm around toys (because ball is life of course!) and how to start and stop play. I also had an incredible experience with Michele watching my pup while I was away on vacation. She took him on hikes and did training exercises throughout the duration of his stay with her. I could tell how fulfilled he was when I got home! I have already recommended Michele to several of my friends and would recommend her to anyone who is looking to work with a trainer! She is incredible and makes learning easy!” - Daniela & Dakota

“Michele began training my beloved German Shepherd, Winnie, who is now 6 years old, when Winnie was about a year old.  I would not be able to enjoy taking Winnie out for walks if it weren't for Michele's commitment to her training work with me and Winnie.  Michele is an excellent dog trainer who is incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, patient, compassionate, and involved.  Michele is extremely dedicated to her trainees, and her love for animals and helping them and their owners work well together is readily apparent.  Without a doubt, I recommend Michele as a dog trainer.  Michele makes training a positive, enjoyable, and rewarding experience!   Michele is extremely open-minded and resourceful, and she develops individualized training plans that meet the needs and abilities of her human and pet clients.  When Winnie was 2 years old, she began having difficulty walking and had spinal surgery for a spinal cord abnormality.  She has pain and weakness in her back and hips. Winnie was very reactive with both people and dogs, and her pulling and lunging during walks became unmanageable.  I adore Winnie and was saddened by my inability to walk Winnie in a way that was safe for me or Winnie.     Before putting together a training program for Winnie, Michele asked for and reviewed information from Winnie's vet on her medical condition in order to understand how she could safely work with and train Winnie and help us. She even learned how to do physical therapy with Winnie to help decrease her pain before and after activity.  I have had several dogs and worked with numerous dog trainers, and Michele has been the first to carefully consider my pet's and my needs and teach me the reason behind the skills she selects and teaches.    It is because of Michele's training that Winnie and I are now able to enjoy walks together, which is an incredible gift to both of us!  I am confident that you will be equally happy with selecting Michele as your trainer.” - Deborah & Winnie
